So, I had an eventful past weekend. I did the last of my finals, I went to ACEN....I graduated....Oh, and I....

...AM ENGAGED!

Yup, that's right, I'm engaged. :D Brady, aka :iconfrozen-water: proposed to me on May 17th. We were even caught on camera and are on you tube. If you want to see it, click here: [link]

He's Shikamaru, and I'm Temari. Isn't it great being a geek? D

Oh, and to answer the usual questions :D :
1) No, we do not have a date set. Maybe sometime next year.
2) I do not like diamonds. The ring is white gold with a teardrop garnet at the center tilting to the side with a purple saffire and a swoop coming off the other side. I will post pictures later. :D

Tootles!

Well, I have my work up in the gallery. It turned out to be 20 oil on board self portraits all butted up against each other to make one piece. It's good that it's up, even if I don't 100% agree with every piece up there. I didn't fail the class. Unless I do something utterly stupid, I will be graduating May 18th.

That itself is rather funny, really. I'll be heading down to ACEN next Thursday, then popping up back to central Wisconsin for Sunday to have cap and gown fun, and then popping over to Minnesota to deliver my boyfriend. I don't sit still, do I?

Anywho, I'm glad the semester is almost over. Hope all of you are doing well.

I thought the committee meeting was today. No, it isn't. So, I kind of wasted my entire break and totally stressed myself out over nothing. Aint that a kick to the head? It's next Monday, so I'm tempted to get another plank and make the painting total up to an even 30. I dunno.

My jaw is still sore, but not as bad mostly. I think I figured out why it is that it still bothers me so much. It appears as though a couple of stitches are actually hooked into my cheek (sp?). That would also explain the loosening of a couple of the stitches because small smatterings of my cheek have fallen off as dead skin. Thank goodness for painkillers, no?
